Professor Prasanna Sooriakumaran is a world leader in prostate cancer care and is the leading consultant surgeon for Urology at Cleveland Clinic London. Professor Sooriakumaran is the only surgeon to have won the University of Surrey’s Alumni Achievement Award for his “significant contributions to society and the field of prostate cancer care”. He specialises in robotic prostatectomies and was trained internationally by global pioneers of robotic surgery at Cornell University in New York and the Karolinska Institute in Stockholm. Professor Sooriakumaran held a Senior Fellowship at Oxford University and is now a senior researcher there..
