Answering all your Health and Immunity concerns
We are living during a time of heightened concern for our health and immunity.
Whether consciously or subconsciously, the pandemic has shifted our perception of our bodies and surroundings, as once seemingly safe and innocuous environments, have now transformed into sources of worry and anxiety.
Much of this, of course, has to do with our mindset. While many have begun to experience ‘crisis fatigue’, others still view the pandemic as a very real, tangible threat, and the feelings of paranoia it has provoked will need to be carefully managed by preparing your mind as you begin finding your ‘new normal’.
But the fact remains that the world of infectious diseases will likely become a growing part of this ‘new normal’, and for as long as this is the case, we will all need to place concern for the health of our immune systems at the top of our agendas.
Among the most important ingredients for making this possible is health promotion and education – simply put, to increase your awareness of what you can do to safeguard your health and immunity over the coming months and, possibly, years.
Dr Colin has over 30 years of experience working as an intensive care specialist.
